Dr. John Neufeld joined Back to the Bible Canada after 30 years of serving in pastoral ministry, both as church planter and senior pastor. Known both nationally and internationally for his expositional Bible teaching, Dr. Neufeld led one of the largest churches in Canada as Senior Pastor for 15 years. He has spoken widely at churches, conferences and seminars throughout North America, and internationally.
Dr. Conrad Mbewe is the current pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia. Widely regarded as “the African Spurgeon”, Conrad is also the Principal of the Reformed Baptist Preachers College in Zambia, and together with KBC continues to oversee the establishment of over 20 new Reformed churches in Zambia and Botswana.
Dr. Joshua Bogunjoko, is the International Director of SIM (Serving In Mission). He attended a mission school in his native Nigeria where he came to faith in Christ. He earned a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in Pharmacology and MBBS in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Port Harcourt. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians and consultant in Family Medicine. He has an MA in Leadership and Management (Organizational Leadership) from Briercrest Seminary. Joshua’s vision is to carry the Gospel to the least reached in the most difficult places. He travels widely encouraging SIM workers in over 65 countries.
Dr. Rob Godard has a passion to see the people of God live for the glory of God. He has served at Cloverdale Baptist Church since 2006 with his wife Lori and four boys. He has the privilege of teaching and preaching in many different camp situations, and teaching trips around the world. His education includes a doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and he loves to preach the Word of God in a way that people can understand and apply it to their lives. He as a passion to see men and women walk in victory and active pursuit of God, as they reflect Him in a lost and hurting world. Rob is also a council member of TGC Canada.
Dr. Mark Jones (PhD, Leiden Universiteit) has been the Minister at Faith Vancouver since 2007. He is also Research Associate in the Faculty of Theology at University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. He lectures at various seminaries around the world and is currently writing a book titled, “God Is: A Devotional Guide to the Attributes of God” (Crossway, 2017) and “Faith, Hope, and Love” (Crossway, 2017)
Dr. Marty Culy has served the Lord as a Bible translator, seminary professor (Briercrest Seminary) and pastor for over 30 years. He was the founding editor of the Baylor Handbook on the Greek New Testament commentary series. His eighth book, Revelation: The Rest of the Story, is scheduled for publication this fall. Marty teaches preaching workshops for pastors across Western Canada, and is Director of Cypress Hills Ministries.
Dr. Jeff Bucknam has served as Lead Pastor of Northview Community Church in Abbotsford, BC since 2008. He holds an MTh degree form Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Talbot School of Theology. Jeff previously served as Associate Professor of New Testament Studies and Systematic Theology at Pathways College of the Bible and Mission in Auckland, and was Teaching Pastor at Hope Community Church in Nelson, New Zealand. When he is not writing sermons, he can be found lecturing for his church’s Immerse Master of Divinity Program, teaching theology classes to interns and congregants, and guest speaking in both academic and church settings. He and his wife reside in Abbotsford, British Columbia with their two sons and daughter.

Kathy Neufeld (Women Teaching Women)
Kathy has been leading Bible studies with women for over 20 years. Her goal is to lead women in inductive Bible Study so that they will learn how to mindfully study and know their God accurately, and from that grow in their trust and love for Jesus. Kathy has been a pastor’s wife for 39 years, is mother of 3, grandmother of 5 and works as a certified nurse clinician at a hospital in Surrey, BC. Kathy is a graduate of Columbia Bible College and holds a BSc in Nursing.
Dr. Joanna Bogunjoko (Missionary Care 101 for Sending Churches)
Joanna committed her heart to Christ in her third year of medical school in Ogun State University in Nigeria. After marriage to Joshua in November of 1993, Joanna served at the ECWA Evangel hospital Jos and also did a semester of studies at ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos. In June 2013, Joshua took on the role of International Director for SIM. Joanna serves as Member Care person for families of mission leaders, single women in leadership, other single women in other ministries. Joshua and Joanna are blessed with two lovely young adult children, Jochebed and Joel
Jo-Anna Culy (Women Mentoring Women)
Jo-Anna Culy has been devoted to ministry throughout her adult life, as a wife, mother, teacher, missionary, and speaker. Happily married for 32 years, she has three adult children and two grandchildren. She has actively mentored women since 2001. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Bible and Elementary Education, and has done graduate work in Linguistics and Biblical Studies. She is the author of Getting Back on Track: Foundations for Biblical Women’s Mentoring.
Dr. David Manuel
Originally from India, David came to Canada in 1977 and has been on staff at South Abbotsford Church since 1980. Presently his area of responsibility is Evangelism (Preaching on Radio, TV, Skype and personal meetings) and Leadership Training. Dr. Manuel received his BA, Master of Theology as well as an honorary doctorate. His ministry has focused on people from Sikh, Muslim, and Hindu backgrounds. Married to Stella since 1960, the Manuels have four married children who have blessed them with twelve delightful grandchildren.
