The Gospel Coalition Canada was formed to encourage and educate Christian leaders. The primary vehicles used to accomplish this mission are a website with rich content, as well as seminars and conferences. Subsequent to establishing TGC Canada we are now forming provincial chapters to minister to the unique needs of individual provinces. The role of provincial chapters fills a different and unique need while in full compliance with the same principles and beliefs of The Gospel Coalition (US & Canada).
The Mission of the Gospel Coalition of United States and Canada
As a broadly Reformed network of churches, The Gospel coalition encourages and educates current and next-generation Christian leaders by advocating gospel-centered principles and practices that glorify the Savior and do good to those for whom he shared his life’s blood. A biblically grounded and united Mission is the only enduring future for the church. We desire to champion the gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity, compassion, courage and joy-gladly linking hearts with fellow believers across denominational, ethnic and class lines. We invite all Christians to join us in an effort to renew the contemporary church in the ancient gospel of Christ so that we truly speak and live for him in a way that clearly communicates to our age.

Why be a member of TGC BC?
The Gospel Coalition-Canada encourages and educates current and next generation Christian leaders by advocating gospel centered principles and practices. The BC chapter while fully aligned with the intent and purposes of The Gospel Coalition-Canada has a greater focus on connecting those Christian leaders in our specific geographical (BC) area of ministry. We aspire to encourage BC Christian leaders to enjoy a greater affinity amongst themselves and to foster closer supportive and collaborative relationships on a day-to-day basis. We invite you to become a member with your fellow workers here in British Columbia.
The challenge for the The Gospel Coalition BC Chapter is to connect like-minded leaders and congregations in mutual support and encouragement. While there are a number of different denominations involved in the TGC-BC membership there is no intention of becoming, forming or displacing any denominational entities. What brings us together is much stronger than those issues that divide. We are inviting all church leaders, Pastors, Associate Pastors, Elders and Deacons to participate in membership. We believe there are many leaders amongst us with gifting in unique areas that would benefit the whole. Areas such as Gospel sharing, church governance, leadership training, prayer groups, conflict resolution, managing church growth, etc. The proximity of fellow believers in our Province gives us the ability to support one another in more tangible ways than what can be accomplished on a country wide basis.
How do I become a member?
In order to become a member you need to affirm your agreement with the TGC Confessional statement. Your affirmation is personal and not church or denominationally affiliated. Our purpose in having you affirm the Confessional statement is to ensure that we have a common understanding of the biblical non-negotiable beliefs we share.
After reading and affirming the Confessional Statement we would ask that you fill in the TGC-BC Membership Form.
It is a joy for us to serve together in these days when we are seeing increasing pressure on the evangelical community. What was once considered foundational biblical belief is now seen as intolerance. Our evangelical world is being rocked and we need one another today, as in the times of extreme persecution. As we face the difficult days to come let us join together in proclaiming the Gospel message boldly and without fear.
Philippians 1:27–28 (ESV)
27 Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.
